Matrimony

The Sacrament of Matrimony stands as a sign of Christ the Bridegroom's love for his Bride, the Church. By this Sacrament, spouses are called to a life of service to one another, to their children, and to the Church. Married people live a life of love which calls them to sacrifice for one another and their children in order to reach the gates of heaven. Marriage is a covenant between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. The celebration of marriage is also a liturgical action, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy.

If you are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony at Holy Cross Church, please complete and submit the Marriage Registration Form at least six months prior to your desired wedding date. If you are a civilly-married couple, complete and submit the form at least three months before your desired date.

Fill out the Marriage Registration Form.
