Easter Egg Hunt

 

When: Sunday, March 28th

Where: Holy Cross Parish Grounds

Time: 2:00PM-Promptly

 

Ages: 1-10

 

*Please meet in the CCHS Gym at 1:45PM

 

*We will have prizes for the most eggs collected per age group and a golden egg winner!

 

* Punch and cupcakes will be served.  Please join us for lots of fun and fellowship.

Operation Lent!!!

Every year during the season of Lent we as a parish family are encouraged to focus on the church at large and not only in our own community.  In past years we have helped many individuals and families. Last year as a parish family we adopted Chez Hope.  This year Holy Cross Parish will adopt The Haven. The Mission of The Haven is to empower survivors of family violence and sexual assault to live safe, independent & violence-free lives. They serve Terrebonne, Lafourche and surrounding areas including Assumption and St. Mary. 

*Our project will begin on Ash Wednesday with a monetary collection which will go directly to The Haven.

The following is a schedule of weekly items we are asking parishioners to bring in. 

First Week of Lent: silverware, drinking glasses, plates and bowls. (New or used-in good condition please).

Second Week of Lent:  toilet tissue, paper towels, Kleenex

Third Week of Lent: dishwashing liquid, floor cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, washing powder, garbage bags

Fourth Week of Lent: shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste only, deodorant, bar soap, alcohol/peroxide
